Adrotec's library, https://github.com/adrotec/breeze.server.php , has been available for a couple of months now. Have you tried it? Does it meet your needs? Is reliance on Doctrine a problem? If so, what would you like to see instead?
Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

We have open sourced our PHP library for breeze. Currently it supports Doctrine ORM. We are actively developing it. We'd love to hear your feedbacks.
(I don't know if this is the right place to share! Sorry if it is not!)

I'm currently working on a PHP backend for BreezeJS.
Currently it's being built with CodeIgniter and REST_Controller.
I'll share when I'm done.
