I'm developing an application that is already using Breeze and Entity Framework, and WCF services. I wanted to switch to ServiceStack but there is this feature missing.

Breeze support ServiceStack. Building Web Applications with Open-Source Software on Windows pluralsight course explains how

ServiceStack started as open source project but now has become a commercial product so not sure if ServiceStack would stay alive longer especially when Microsoft has revised WEB API with version 2. Breeze has been doing awesome job, still FREE and open Source. Enterprise/companies can buy support as needed. Most of developers feel like ServiceStack has cheated the community so it may die soon or remain alive with fewer followers and less usage as initially we anticipated. I could be completely wrong but just my thought.... So should Breeze invest time on ServiceStack or rather fully support Web API2 which can basically also support ServiceSatck indirectly?

I would strongly urge Breeze to follow this suggestion. I also was planning to use Breeze as my client side proxy (in conjunction with an AngularJS frontend), but I've had to abandon that option because Breeze didn't support my planned ServiceStack server-side architecture (And, if I have to make a choice between the two, then ServiceStack wins hands-down, I'm afraid)

I am already using ServiceStack on two projects. Now I am starting a SPA using AngularJS and ServiceStack. Awesome that this is the 2nd most requested feature. Just hope it comes in sooner than later.
