Work is well underway on a Java backend for Breeze, using Hibernate. Please check out https://github.com/Breeze/breeze.server.java/tree/master/breezejs-hibernate
Is anybody still paying attention to this? If so, could you provide some sort of an update as to the status of this?Anonymous supported this idea ·
What is the current state of the Java backend for Breeze? I checked out but the build failed to pass the test phase.
Work is well underway on a Java backend for Breeze, using Hibernate and JAX-RS. Please check out https://github.com/Breeze/breeze.server.java/tree/master/breezejs-hibernate .
The NorthBreeze sample (https://github.com/Breeze/breeze.js.samples/tree/master/java/NorthBreeze ) is a web application that uses the breezejs-hibernate library. We deploy it on Tomcat.
Given the lack of response should we assume that a Java backend for Breeze is not going to happen? Or at least is not a current priority?
I am having trouble building the project at https://github.com/Breeze/breeze.server.java/tree/master/breezejs-hibernate. I was able to build and deploy the sample project, https://github.com/Breeze/breeze.js.samples/tree/master/java/NorthBreeze. But, it did not work. What is the plan for supporting Java backend?
Is this still being actively developed? Looks like there have been no checkins for while and the master branch doesn't build due to tests failing (referring to the java backend for Breeze not the NorthBreeze sample).
The project at https://github.com/Breeze/breeze.server.java/ seems to be stalled with no activity in the past 5 months. The sample project at https://github.com/Breeze/breeze.js.samples/tree/master/java seems to be in a similar situation. It does not work and there has been no activity in 5 months.
Is support for Java on the server still on the roadmap? If so, I have made some changes to both projects in order to get them to work. I would be happy to share what I found and what I did.
